Lucille Ehrle, age 90 of Amana, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Colonial Manor of Amana.  Funeral Services: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2009, Middle Amana Community Church, Middle Amana, with Elder Betsy Momany officiating.  Burial will be in the Amana Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M. Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Middle Amana Community Church. A memorial fund has been established. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by four sons, Henry (Isabelle) of Cedar Rapids, Ron (Marilyn) of Cedar Rapids, Gary (Christy) of Belle Plaine and Steve (Shirley) of Marion; a daughter Nancy VonAhsen (Larry) of Cedar Rapids; fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-nine great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2005, a sister Amanda Williams and a step-sister Magdalene Hergert.

Lucille Rosa Puegner was born August 12, 1919 in High Amana, Iowa, the daughter of Edmund and Emma Lippman Puegner.  She received her education in the Amana schools and married Carl Fred Ehrle on October 13, 1938 in Marengo, Iowa.  Besides being a homemaker, Lucille was employed at the Amana Woolen Mills and also worked at Colony Inn for 18 years. She was a member of the Amana Church Society.
