Dustin J. Henning, age 30, of Blairstown, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at his home.  Memorial Service: 10:30 A.M. Saturday, April 30, 2011, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo with Rev. Katie Z. Dawson officiating. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 P.M. Friday, April 29, 2011, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.  A memorial fund has been established.

Dustin is survived by his father Jeff Henning (Laurie) of Marengo; His mother Donna Soderblom (Daryl) of Newton; a son Brydon Henning of Elkader; paternal grandmother, Janice Henning of Oskaloosa; two step-brothers, Calvin Korns of Marengo and Kyle Soderblom of Newton; and three step-sisters, Jenelle, Chelsea and Melissa Soderblom, all of Newton. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, and a step-sister Jenny Korns.

Dustin Joseph Henning was born February 14, 1981 in Grinnell, Iowa, the son of Jeff and Donna James Henning.  He received his high school diploma from DMACC at Newton. He was employed as a welder, and did auto body work and painting. Most recently he worked in the construction industry.
