Donna D. Miller, age 87, of Marengo, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the Marengo Memorial Hospital. Private family services will be held at a later date. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is assisting the family with arrangements.

Donna is survived by her children, Kathleen Beard (Bill) of Oxford, Randa Moore (Lyle) of Marengo and Fred Miller Jr. (Susan) of Marengo; nine grandchildren, Angela Myers (Bronson), Michele Schmidt (Charles), Monty Neuhaus, Robin Taylor (Josh), Lisa Cornell (Jeff), Tara Howe (Jeff), Shela Delay (Rod), Wendy Stewart (Samuel) and William Beard (Robin); numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister Margorie Kurth (Clarence) of Marengo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred J. Miller, a son George Neuhaus, and siblings, George Mattison, Aubrey Mattison and John Mattison.

Donna Diliah Mattison was born October 27, 1923 in Marengo, Iowa, the daughter of George and Almeda Ginther Mattison. She received her education in the Victor and Marengo schools and married Fred James Miller on October 5, 1956 in Kirksville, Missouri. He died in 1995. Donna was employed at Amana Refrigeration for many years.
