Curt C. Bailey, age 33 of Marengo died Sunday, July 19, 2009. Graveside Services: 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 27, 2009 at the Marengo Cemetery with Rev. Katie Dawson officiating. There will be no visitation. A memorial fund has been established for his son Alex. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his son Alex; step brothers, Joe Losch (Diane) of Cedar Rapids, John Losch (Donna) of Florida, and Jim Losch (Sharon) of Marion; a half sister Jeri Springman (Barry) of Alburnett and a step sister Joanie Ondler (Corky) of Marion and an uncle Dick Bailey (Joanne) of Dubuque. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Curtis Casper Bailey was born January 4, 1976 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the son of Harold and Brooksie Watts Bailey. He was employed as a foreman at Pennebaker Construction. Curt enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, Ice House beer and spending time with Alex. He loved bonfires and the July 4 th fireworks. He especially enjoyed the annual Bailey Campout with Matt Losch, Pam Gaines and Danny Bailey.
