| Andrea
Jo “Andy” Oehl Even, age 43, of Amana, died Tuesday, March
1, 2005 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics,
Iowa City, from injuries suffered in an auto accident. Funeral
Services: 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 4, 2005 at St. John’s
Lutheran Church in Homestead with Rev. Wayne Woolery officiating.
Burial will be in the Amana Cemetery. Friends may call from
2 to 8 P.M. Thursday, March 3, 2005 at Kloster Funeral Home,
Marengo. In lieu of flowers memorials may be contributed
to Zach’s College Education Fund or the Children’s Miracle
Network.
She
is survived by her husband Michael, a son, Zachary, and
her parents, Don and Judy Oehl, all of Amana. In addition
she is survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins and a
special friend, Jon Wylie. She was preceded in death by
her grandparents.
Andrea
Jo Oehl was born January 17, 1962 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa,
the daughter of Donald and Judy Schwarting Oehl. She received
her education in the Amana Community schools and graduated
from Amana High School in 1980. She attended Edison Community
College in Ft. Myers, FL. Andrea married Michael Even on
August 25, 1984 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Homestead.
She worked for many years with Oehl Plumbing and Heating,
the family business and was employed as a ward clerk at
St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids at the time of her death.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Homestead,
and was active with the Amana Youth Soccer Organization.
