Clara I. Fiser, age 88 of Brooklyn, formerly of Marengo, died Tuesday morning, July 12, 2005 at Brooklyn Community Estates, Brooklyn, IA. following an extended illness. Funeral Services: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 16, 2005, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo with Rev. Dianne Buswell officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:00 A.M. Saturday until service time at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

She is survived by her husband William of Brooklyn Community Estates, Brooklyn; 3 sisters, Opal Roller of Marengo and Dorothy Hohnstein and Anna McIlrath of Laguna Woods, CA; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Clyde and Charles Fowler, Jr.

Clara Isabelle Fowler was born December 17, 1916 in Ozark, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles Alfred Fowler, Sr. and Beulah Belle Reynolds Fowler. She received her education in the Marengo schools and married William Fiser on February 8, 1937 at the Presbyterian Manse.

She was a homemaker.
