William M. Fiser, age 92, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Brooklyn Community Estates, Brooklyn, Iowa, following an extended illness. Funeral Services: 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 12, 2007, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo with Rev. Dianne Buswell officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:00 A.M. Friday until service time at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

He is survived by two sisters, Madeline Lillie of Marengo and Famie Schuldt of Chariton, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Clara in 2005, and two sisters, Ella May Moore and Martha Septer.

William Maynard Fiser was born January 6, 1915 in Marengo, Iowa the son of Harry and Grace Blaine Fiser. He received his education in the Iowa County schools. He married Clara Fowler on February 8, 1937 at the Presbyterian Manse in Marengo. William farmed in Iowa County for many years and also worked in the janitorial department at Kinze Manufacturing.
