Peggy A. Fritz, age 55 of Marengo, died Wednesday evening, December 17, 2008 at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehab Center following an extended illness. Funeral Services: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 20, 2008, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo with Rev. Katie Dawson officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

She is survived by her mother, Eileen Fritz of Marengo; a brother Robert Fritz (Peggy) also of Marengo and a sister Jan Graesser (Steve) of High Amana and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Fritz.

Peggy Ann Fritz was born February 14, 1953 in Williamsburg, Iowa, the daughter of Theodore and Eileen Gorsch Fritz. She graduated from Iowa Valley High School of Marengo in 1973. Peggy was employed at Amana Refrigeration, and then at Colonial Manor of Amana. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, playing cards and baking. She especially enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews grow.
