Susanna Marie Hahn, age 98, died Monday evening, May 15, 2006 at her home. Funeral services: 10:00 A.M. Friday, May 19, 2006, Middle Amana Community Church, Middle Amana with Elder Tony Berger officiating. Burial will be in the Middle Amana Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the Middle Amana Community Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be contributed to the Amana Church Society. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by two daughters, Marlene Trumpold and husband Melvin of Middle Amana and Elsie Sayers and husband Mac of Marengo; five grandchildren, Lynn Trumpold and wife Margaret of Middle, Cindy Walter and husband Kevin of Middle, Dan Hollrah of Middle; Elizabeth Momany and husband Tim of Amana, and Brian Hollrah and wife Susan of Middle; 12 great-grandchildren, Erica Zimmerman, William, Jeffrey and Emilie Trumpold, Lacie and Abbie Walter, Sara and Andrea Hollrah, Alex and Allison Momany, and Rebecca and Anneli Hollrah. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William in 1972, and 3 sisters, Verona Schinnerling, Louise Noe, and Elsie Reihmann

Susanna Marie Reihmann was born May 26, 1907 in Middle Amana, the daughter of Fred L. and Marie Murbach Reihmann. She received her education in the Middle Amana schools and married William George Hahn on August 13, 1931 in Middle Amana. She lived in Middle Amana her entire life. Susanna enjoyed gardening, quilting, cooking, visiting and spending time with famiy and friends.

She was a member of the Amana Church Society.
