John Adam Martin, age 24 of Marengo, died Monday afternoon, September 5, 2005 at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City of complications from cystic fibrosis.

Funeral Services; 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 9, 2005 at the First Presbyterian Church in Marengo with Rev. Jerry Rife officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday, September 8, 2005 at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. A memorial fund has been established.

He is survived by his parents, David and Bonnie Martin, two sisters, Jennifer Gorsch and husband Josh, and Jessica, all of Marengo; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Brown of Marengo, great-grandmother, Lucille Anderson of Coquille, OR; a nephew, John Adam Gorsch and many aunts and uncles.

John Adam Martin was born December 20, 1980 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of David and Bonnie Brown Martin. He attended the Marengo schools and was a 1999 graduate of Iowa Valley High School.
