Everette B. Meamber, age 58, died Thursday afternoon, December 1, 2005 at St. Catherine’s Hospital, East Chicago, Indiana following a brief illness. Funeral Services: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M. Monday, December 5, 2005 at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date. A memorial fund has been established.

He is survived by his wife Brenda, two step-daughters, Trisha Casto (Donny) of Homestead and Eva Parker (William) of Sigourney; six step-grandchildren and a sister, Jennie Holland of San Francisco. In addition he is survived by many nieces and nephews and a faithful companion, his dog Zuber. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joe Meamber.

Everette Barry Meamber was born February 22, 1947 in Eureka, CA, the son of Everette and Iris Rhines Meamber. He graduated from Eureka High School and attended business college for two years. He married Brenda Hoover on March 2, 1984 in Liberty, Texas. The couple have lived in the Amana area for eight years, where Everett operated Zuber’s Restaurant in Homestead for a number of years. Most recently he was employed for Mastertech Services of Golden, CO installing cooling towers for major refineries. He was loved and will be missed by many.
