| Joseph P. Quinlan, age 38 of Marengo, died Friday evening, December 5, 2008 at his parents’ home. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2008, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Marengo with Fr. Joseph Roost officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Marengo. Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M. Monday, December 8, 2008 at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo where there will be a Scripture Service at 6:00 P.M. A memorial fund has been established.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Jean Quinlan of Marengo; his siblings, Mike Quinlan (Julie) of Marengo, Anne Quinlan of Fort Dodge, Joni Lawson (Mick) of Ottumwa, Dan Quinlan (Deb) of Marengo and Ed Quinlan (Janel) of Hamilton, IL. and 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Albertine Henik and William and Barbara Quinlan.
Joseph Patrick Quinlan was born July 10, 1970 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Lawrence Quinlan and Jean Henik Quinlan. He received his education in the Iowa Valley Schools of Marengo and worked as a salesman in the auto industry for several years. Joseph enjoyed fishing in his free time, and spending time with his family. |
