Janice Marie Roller, age 66, of Grinnell, died Monday, January 26, 2009 at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Funeral Services: 10:30 A.M. Friday, January 30, 2009, Grace United Methodist Church, Brooklyn with Rev. John Epperson officiating. Burial will be in Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn. A memorial fund has been established.

She is survived by her husband Dr. Donald Roller; her children, Dan Roller (Karol) of Sigourney, Kevin Roller (Angie) of Brooklyn, Diana Kline (Ed) of Brooklyn and Tammy Rockwell (Tony) of Sully; ten grandchildren, Mindy Venz (Nathan) of O’Fallon, MO, Haley Roller of Iowa City, Danielle and Brandon Roller of Brooklyn, Marc, Devan, Eddie, and Jack Kline of Brooklyn, and Taryn and Riley Rockwell of Sully. Also surviving is a brother Ron Jones (Jean) of Grinnell. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Virginia Koehn, and a brother-in-law, Edwin Koehn.

Janice Marie Jones was born May 10, 1942 in Marengo, Iowa, the daughter of Dale and Phyllis Jordan Jones. She graduated from Millersburg High School in 1959 and attended AIB in Des Moines, and received a degree in accounting. She married Dr. Donald Roller on July 23, 1961 at the Millersburg Methodist Church. She was employed at the Shortstop as a cashier for the last ten years, and was very fond of the people she worked with.

Janice loved to camp at Diamond Lake, Hawkeye basketball, solving crosswords and cooking. She spent her leisure time with her dogs and watching game shows. But she especially enjoyed the time she spent with her family.
