| Terry
E. Sloan, age 60 of Marengo died Saturday evening, March
12, 2005 at his home following a sudden illness. Friends
may call from 4 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at Kloster
Funeral Home, Marengo where there will be a Time of Sharing
at 7:30 P.M. Memorial Services and committal will be at
a later date.
He
is survived by 3 daughters, Annette Sloan and fiance’ Jeff
Lockwood of Falling Waters, West Virginia, Tressa Scott
and husband Kevin of Cedar Rapids, and Tara Sloan of Cedar
Rapids; 2 grandsons, Cole Scott and Connor Thompson; his
Mother, LaVaun Edwards of Belle Plaine; his step-mother,
Marlene Sloan of Victor, two brothers, Zachary Sloan of
Colon, NE, and Eric Sloan of Des Moines; two sisters, Faye
Kimm of Blairstown, and Marjena Sloan of Grinnell; and several
nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father
Eugene Sloan, and his stepfather, Robert Edwards.
Terry
Eugene Sloan was born May 29, 1944 in Belle Plaine, IA the
son of Eugene Dale Sloan and LaVaun Keller Sloan. He graduated
from Victor High School in 1962. He was employed as a tool
and die maker at Williamsburg Manufacturing in Williamsburg.
Terry
was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and the
Knights of Columbus.
