Cara Amber Smith, daughter of Joe and Kelly Smith, was stillborn Thursday evening, January 20, 2005 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral Services: 10:30 A.M. Monday, January 24, 2005, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo with Rev. Douglas Morton officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:00 A.M. Monday until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be contributed to the St. Luke’s Birth Care Center in Cedar Rapids.

She is survived by her parents, Joe and Kelly Rudin Smith; paternal grandmother, Rose Smith, and maternal grandparents, Gene and Phillis Rudin, all of Marengo, and great-grandmothers, Cora Schoenfelder of Van Horne, Alice Rudin of Marengo, and Ruby Ryder of Sigourney. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Larry Smith, and great-grandparents, Paul Rudin, Adolph Schoenfelder, Ollie Ryder and John and Doris Smith.
