Lorraine Von Lienen, age 66 of Marengo, died Thursday, April 21, 2005 at the Rose Haven Nursing Home following an extended illness. Friends may call from 5 to 7 P.M. Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Kloster Funeral Home in Marengo. Private Family Services will be held on Monday. A memorial fund has been established.

Lorraine is survived by her husband, Leo “Pete”; two sons, Richard “Rick” of Cedar Rapids and Christopher of Iowa City; and a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Von Lienen of North Liberty; three grandchildren, Chase, Breanna and Elijah Von Lienen; and two sisters, Mary Barr and husband George of Blairstown and Sally Ollinger and husband Bernard of Vinton. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Lorraine Helen Eichler was born September 9, 1938 in Ladora, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Evelyn Brown Eichler. She received her education in the Iowa County schools and graduated from Marengo High School in 1957. She married Leo “Pete” Von Lienen on February 2, 1962 in Dubuque, Iowa. Lorraine was a homemaker.
